I broiled chicken on a broiler pan and the chicken had a sugary type marinate on it and now I can't get the broiled on sugar off the pan...Any help out there?

Easy off oven cleaner. You can wipe it off with no effort. It works great.

Yes, get a can of oven cleaner/spray the broiler pan heavily and put in large trash bag cover tightly let it set over night/ all the grease and sugary stuff then can be wiped off. Or put it in your self cleaning oven and go by the directions for oven cleaning.

I can't quite remember the exact ingredients, but try this . . .

Fill the bottom of the broiler pan with water and add either baking soda and dish soap or vinegar and dish soap (really can't remember which, but I think it is the first). Put the pan on top of the stove and heat the water to a boil. This should loosen the baked on crud.

soak it in hot soapy water to loosen up the baked on juices... then use an abbrasive pad (like an SOS pad) to scrub the pan clean. it may take a long time, but eventually it will get the job done.

put it in a trash bag with ammonia and little water leave for a day shake once in a while
