Their southern drawls are definitely sexy. It's just the way they treat woman in general. I dated a southern man and he treated me with the utmost respect. He held the door open for me, he complimented me, he treated his mom with respect, waited until I was seated before he sat down, they just have great manners in general. Plus they're gorgeous with their smiles, I know my ex always made me melt when he smiled. Like they say: "Save a horse, ride a cowboy!" Can you say Matthew McCauneghy? He just floats my boat. Plus he dances naked with bongo's, lol.

I moved from Minnesota to Texas for college. The biggest draw for me was how much more respect the southern men had for women in general.
They love their moms and that translates into the way they treat their girlfriends. They hold open doors, complement you, even think about you in a different way; they can actually visualize you getting married and having kids without getting queezy. I really enjoyed being valued for being a woman for once.

I don't know what it is, but I definitely know what you're talking about! It gets me every time, too! I think they are just respectful, raised right, and love the simpler things in life. Maybe that's the appeal. I dunno, but they are the best!
