There are poison ivy leaves growing around one of our trees in the backyard. How do I get rid of it safely?

I would reccommend just wearing some of those rubber dishwashing gloves you get at the grocery store and maybe one of those rain ponchos you can get for really cheap. That way you can just throw them away when you're done.

The only way to get rid of poison ivy is to spray it. Roundup will work, but it is better to use something called "brush killer-kills woody plants." But you MUST spray it on when the plant is actively growing and metabolizing, which may be a little late for this year.

weed killer chemicals are the most effectiva safe weed killer even against poison ivy which isnt technically a weed

Just spray weed killer spray.

pour vodka on it that will give you some relief.Also go get you some Benadyrl
