Because.... I love all animals for thier uniqueness. Cats are such agile, sleek and beautiful creatures. Thier personalities are as unique as our own and they are extremely intelligent, loving and mischevious. I love them for thier independence, playfulness and hunting skills, thier aristocratic bearing, I love they how put themselves above others without malice or concealment... a proper cat demands to be the centre of attention and revels in the joy of it. They can be so gentle with thier claws hidden in their velvet paws, and yet so deadly when those claws appear. They are like the essence of the wild woods, captured and yet forever wild and free because of thier nature. They do not do as we command, and we are not thier masters, they only consent to share a little of themselves with us remaining wild even in captivity. Why do I love cats?? Because they are cats!

Until recently I didn't like cats. My youngest daughter moved back in with a cat. This cat was very lovable, and adjusted very well. When my daughter moved away she asked us to keep her cat for her. We were a little leary but said yes. Then we had a problem in the family that caused stress for me and the cat would climb up on my lap and put her head against my face.which made me cry because she was beyond sensitive. When she saw me cry she would put her paw up on my cheek. I know it's hard for most people to believe but this cat is one in a million. I adore her. Now I am a CAT LOVER!!!!

I love cats because they are so myserious like me. The sound of a cat purring is the most relaxing sound in the world. I love it when they curl up on my pillow just above my head and purr all night puts me to sleep right away. I could have the most stressful day and come home and kitty will jump up in my lap and a few strokes down her back makes me feel better. Better than prozac!!!

They are independent, don't stink like dogs, they have amazing personalities, they are beautiful animals, they are so cute when they clean themselves, litter boxes are so much easier to deal with than taking your dog out at god awful hours just to watch it sniff around and not even do any duty, they fit on your lap purrfectly, oh purring! that is such a soothing sound, they are quiet(mostly), I think they are the smartest animals ever, and my cat Emma is the main reason why I love cats.

I brought two cats from Kazakhstan. We couldn't leave them there. They are the members of the family. We bought the passports for them and the tickets + the vacinations. This summer we went from Tx to OR for a vacation. We decided to drive and we also took our cats ith us. So they were traveling with us for three weeks, they were everywhere, Hollywood, Grand Canyon, etc.

Do I need to tell you that I LOVE them?

Svetlana

My cat is a black and white cat like the one Ragdoll has. Cats are loving and they are clean. They are soft to the touch. They make great companions and they take care of themselves when you are gone. They use litter boxes not the carpet.

I love them because they love me. No matter how bad I look or how much I yell at them. They jump up on my lap and purr telling me the world is ok and they love me. Who could hate a cat like that.

I am definitely a "cat" person. Cats are so adorable. They clean up after themselves, and they make good pets, both indoors and outdoors. They seem less rambunctious too, which is what I don't like about dogs.
