Some cats are quite vocal and by meowing to you is their ways of telling you they want your attention. Cats love attention from their owners and by their ways of "talking" to you is their way of telling you they require your attention. Play with your cat and help them to feel as well as know you love them and love to have them around you.

My cat meows like that when she wants me to pick her up. Cats like you to sit down so they can sit on your lap or just pet them. Try petting the cat and paying attention to it and playing with it for a few minutes and see if that doesn't help.

They just want a little love and attention. Afterall, they are happy after being fed and love you for feeding them.

If it's after they've been fed, they're probably just thirsty.

My cat does it if he hasn't had enough food. Or if he wants attention.

They probably aren't happy with what you gave them. They are ungrateful.
