um, i know this question seems really random, but at my high school, the seniors get to dress up the underclassman on the day before homecoming. long story short, i got dressed up as a penguin and they put vaseline in my hair to slick it back. I CAN'T GET IT OUT!!! i've washed my hair like 20 times! my homecoming dance is TOMORROW! HELP!!!!

use dawn dish soap it will take it out but it will also dry your hair out so put in a good conditioner and let it stay in your hair for 20 min.

my sister did this when we were little...it took about a week of washing and washing...i think she put talcum powder in her hair to soak up some of the vaseline then combed it out really well and washed over and over...you might just have to go with a different hairstyle that would use that...sorry....my sister did it cause she was told by one of her friends it was a great moisturizer for her hair and that it would fix split ends...it didn't .

chill. i have to put vaseline in my hair for ballet all the time. washing it won't help, use mayonaise...seems weird but totally works...just make sure to wash it out so ur hair doesnt smell like crap. trust me, it'll work.

Use a clarifying shampoo. If that doesn't work, use vinegar. Good luck!

TRY SOME ORANGE CLEAN. IT WORKED FOR MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE LEFT CHAP STICK IN HER POCKET. JUST TRY IT!!
