how do you make a dad feel better ?

when he has back problems and cant sit up either ? i hope he doesnt die that would be really sad

Don't worry I'm sure he won't die from back problems. He's probably pretty bored if he's been lying on his back for days. Maybe you could get him some newspapers, magazines or books, whatever he likes to read and you could read to him. Another thing is that he's probably falling behind on the household chores he usually does. Ask how you can help around the house. You could also cook him his favorite food.

I have a feeling just having a daughter like you is enough to make any dad feel better. Why don't you tell him you are worried about him. Maybe the two of you could sit down and talk about his back problems so you will be able to understand more and not worry so much.

Anyway, just tell him that you love him, give him a hug and a kiss (carefully so you don't hurt him), and make him something special, like a card or a meal. That's sure to make him feel better.

I used to work for a chiropractor and you wouldn't believe how many people I've seen get huge amounts of relief from a few adjustments. It's worth a shot. I would call around and see if you could get him an emergency appointment. Also, lots of love helps too. Anything you can do to make him more comfortable is a nice jesture.

one does not usually die from back problems so don't worry
he might need surgery or is he recovering from surgery? has he been seen by a good doctor? if not, encourage him to see one soon.......
you can not take away his pain but you can spend time with him and ask him what you can do for him...rub his back, put warm or cool towels on his back for him
