I want to put my education qualifications on my visiting card (personal one). In my culture it is acceptable to do so but I am not sure what the correct etiquette is. I did my Masters in the UK and my undergrad in the US - is that something I would include? Any help would be appreciated! ! !

Unless you have studied any special course in your MA there is no need to mention it. If you deem it necessary you may mention UK after it to show from where you obtained the postgraduation but that is also not necessary. These details can figure in you CV. Visiting card should have just the necessary details. Otherwise the card would become unwield like the card of a Minister in India. It ran into seveal pages and contained all references to various awards and honorary doctors degrees granted to him,Do not even think of smothering somebody with the card .Reserve it for the interview. Think what would happen if the high expectations raised by your gorgeous card are not fulfilled during the interview The card introducing you would be creating a wrong impression about you.

I have seen MA on business cards and thought they were pretentious in some corner of my mind. Other than that, it is acceptable because these days more and more people are listing their education in their business cards.
Nobody has ever put in their schools or universities that I remember.
I would suggest to leave that out unless your contacts would like a mini CV and you are just looking for a job. Then it would be ok to leave those for the job agencies.
Have another set printed for the general public.

It depends on the purpose of the card: are you trying to drum up business? In which case, it is relevant to subtly mention your specialty (with or without your degree). If you are a consultant, then it is advisable that your specialty be known among acquaintances, who can refer potential clients to you.

In such cases, it is more relevant to know what you do than what your degree is, or the institution (save those for your resume),
unless your MA or PhD highlights the work that you do, and adds credibility (still no need to mention the institute).

If you only want a card for generic networking purposes, with no mention of what you do, then the degree (and institution) are irrelevant, you just need the contact info for how others can reach you.

Happy networking!

In some cultures that's the norm. I quite have seen this plenty in Canada and a few international locations of the Caribbean. i do no longer know what could be seen reliable etiquette because it pertains to putting the designation on a private or organization card. I propose you seek Canadian sites universities and so on. to work out.
