I was in conversation with one of my friends today and he said some interesting remark. He said, "One must bow to one's lot. It is the will of Heaven, one cannot struggle against fate."
At the time, I was preoccupied with something else and didn't ask him what he meant exactly. After constantly thinking about this phrase for a while, I am still not sure what it exactly means. If anyone knows what the phrase means, could you please share your insights? Can you explain using examples if you can?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

one does not struggle against fate - they create it for themselves - if their is a struggle, it is coming from within; your choices are not resonating with your heart

what I believe in is that when fate or God wants sth 4 u you just get it even if you think it is not good 4 u or that it is against your will ... what really amaze you is that these thing though look as if bad to you you will realize by the passing of time that it is for your penifit ... for example you wish to get a job but fate comes between you and this job , now you think it is bad but after a while you get a better chance which you wouldn't get if you have got the job you aimed at .... this is how fate - God- interfer for your sake
i hope i've answered your question

It means you can not resist what will happen in life...you can not control how some things work out- so don't try to struggle fighting it. If things are meant to be, they will be.
