How open minded are you?
a) Extremely. All I know is that I know nothing
b) Fairly. I have a few guidelines I find to be true, but if you have a better idea lets hear it!
c) Somewhat. There are things I know for sure, there are things I don't. You better have some proof to change my mind.
d) Little. What I believe is the truth. You may open my mind to a few details, but that's about it
e) None. What I believe is absolute truth and of God / Allah / My Deity. Its all in the book

I would say both (e) and (c). For me, what I believe is the absolute truth of God and it's all in the book. However, I am open and very interested in what you have to say but you would have to have some mind blowing proof to change my mind. Also, I can respect your decision to believe differently than I do.

Hard to answer. I consider myself to be a) extremely open minded, but I also have very little patience for the things that I have discovered to be false. Like certain religions. The ones that I have looked into and discovered are illogical, I write off. Does that make me e) None?

A. Being a polytheist and believing in the existence of more than one God, I have room for tolerance. Plus I do acknowledge the fact that I could be wrong. Making the assumption that I'm right and that others are not is just hubris.

Of course both a and e are absolute positions. To claim with certainty that one knows nothing is silly, as you must know that you know nothing. And you must also have an idea of what knowing something would be like.
I have no religious beliefs, and always found those that do extremely unconvincing. I´ll go for b.

If believing God who is the source of all truth, knowledge, wisdom, and justice is considered by a worldly man such as yourself to be close minded, so be it.
But by following the God of all truth, we are heirs to the source of all truth, knowledge, wisdom, and justice. Why are unbelievers so closed-spirited?
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. -1 Corinthians 2:2

I'll have to go with Choice C. I'm an agnostic, by the way, so that might explain it. I have a lot of friends who would choose Choice E and they annoy the heck out of me.

Why is open-mindedness equated with uncertainty? Someone could be uncertain about everything yet belligerent. Someone else could be quite certain, yet broad-minded, sensitive, and articulate with other views.

would say in all honesty " B " simply because I have guidelines but believe what I know is true. however, if you can prove me wrong by all means let us discuss your ideas. however, if you plan on arguments forget it as arguments never solved anything but discussions are what we learn by.
