most muslims only eat dates and drink plain water.but,i didn't follow them because that menu won't stay my stomach for long time.i usually eat cornflakes.but i take some dates too.

it differs from one country to another ... and from one person to another .. eat what you like.. but make sure it will not make your stomach heavy.. drink much water .. good luck

i think that's better in iftar. But if you did it in suhoor, eat more so it can last longer. Among the fruits, date is one of the most nutritious, high amounts of complex carbohydrates and fibers, small amounts of protein(not found in other fruits) and lesser amounts of other minerals. The very things one need for its body to GO, GROW, AND GLOW.

'Dates' is traditional Arabic.
Not all Muslims are Arabs.
