What's with the Creation/evolution debate?
When will people learn about building on strong foundations? Don't people who come to this string realize that a worldview, in order to be solid, has to be a complete world view? If you take a little Bible, mix it with 'bad science', season with easy believism and cheap grace, throw it in the pot of 'universal tolerance', then tune your TV to TBN and put it on top and wait for it to 'boil', all your going to get is a lukewarm liquid. And we know how Jesus feels about lukewarm!
This may be a lighter question you have asked, but it is a much weightier problem that it points to.

If there really is a God then why:
death
war
aids
poverty
abortion
Anything else thats bad.

How did God?:

Simple answer to end all answers: if you want to believe in God then go ahead, just dont ask too many questions or you will find out the awful truth, thereby making you a non-believer. Nothing about God or religion is based on logic or emperical evidence. But then again love is not logical, gambling is not logical, eating fried food, saluting the flag, cheering on your team....
all these things we do not because they actually make sense to do, but because we humans are emotional creatures and we do it because it makes us feel good.

Come on, that's so old, and obviously the answer is no. There are intelligent people in all religions, who have reasons for believing what they believe.
