Well, I was 8 when I was baptized. But I know what you mean when you say you start to see things more clearly. That is a result of spiritual maturity. When I was a missionary I started to see things even more clearly. I could some people's houses had more light than others (not electricity, but actual light at any time of the day) and some people had more light in their eyes than others. There is more to it than that, but it's a beginning.

I have been baptized twice, the first time as a teenager. I didn't submit to the Holy Spirit then. I was baptized again in May 2006 and have finally sbmitted myself the the Holy Spirit and His leading. I am so thankful God has given me a second chance to make right with Him! I was "blind" to my sin and to the true calling of my Lord Jesus, but I do see things differently now and have much more discernment. I see things through the Holy Spirits eyes now, and not my own or the worlds. HALEUJAH!!!!

I was baptized when I was 28 days old so I honestly don't remember any changes. But after leaving the church for 18 yrs and coming back 3 yrs ago. my life has definitely changed. It is better, a lot better! My outlook on things is better and more vibrant. So I know what you are talking about.
Welcome! Jesus is amazing and wonderful. Everytime I read His words from the Bible, I hear it differently and it means more. I am open-minded to all religions but Jesu wins hands down. God bless you on your journey home.

God does not add to your eyesight nor your touch or feel, etc, but when cares are lifted and we see the world from a different outlook. It is us that changes. We are a new creation when we obey God's commands. Our unburdened souls look out to see the beauty of His creation.
After we become a Christian, Satan is even more alert to try our souls. Why would he try to entice us when he already has us in his clutches? Watch out after you see the beauty because he will be out to get you and move into your cleaned mind.

Many years ago a christian wrote these words after their conversion, and I think they express how a christian feels after taking the step of faith you did recently.
Heaven above is softer blue,
Earth around a sweeter green,
Something lives in every hue,
Christless eyes have never,
Birds with glader songs o'er flow
Flowers with deeper beauties shine,
Since I know, as now I know
I am His and He is mine.
God Bless

Yes, I see things differently but not the way you see them. I notice sin more. I see the Bible prophecies coming true. I see Christ as my Lord and Saviour and thank Him for His sacrifice. I also see things in the Bible that God wants me to see (through the Holy Spirit). Jesus is Lord, Amen. Lord bless you and all born again Christians. Thank you for your question.

without understanding why you want to modify church homes that's not elementary to grant you with suggestion. So... some historic previous: even as St. Vladimir, Prince of Kievan Rus (the precursor to the Russian united states) wanted to be certain a state faith (on the turn of the _last_ millennium, a touch earlier the twelve months 988), he despatched out emissaries to all the major religions of that element; Islam, Buddhism and Orthodox Christianity. on the go back of his emissaries from the Christian middle that develop into Constantinople (present day day Istanbul) the capital of a Christian Empire that lasted over a one thousand years, the emissaries defined the worship in this kind of compelling way that St. Vladimir immediately determined that Orthodox Christianity develop into going to be the religion for his united states; for the emissaries having witnessed a Divine Liturgy suggested: "We did not understand if we were in heaven or on earth!" if you're baptized Greek Orthodox and favor to modify church homes, it could be perfect in case you remained in the Orthodox community (Russian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Serbian, and so on.). As there is common training in the course of the church homes, as they're being led through the only Holy Spirit and are members of the only “body of Christ”. Too regularly you'll locate in the a number of denominations of Christianity fairly diverse teachings - and yet all of them declare to have the bible as their source of understand-how and they are being led through the Holy Spirit “into all truth”. The 'evidence is in the pudding' because the saying is going - the multiplicity of teachings and denominations (over 20,000 at very last count number) element out that denominationalism is in mistakes! the most prudent determination might want to be the Church with a unmarried body of truth as discovered in the Orthodox Church because the "pillar and floor of truth” (Timothy 3:15). in case you needed an exceedingly short, and yet complete seem at Orthodox Christianity bypass to Amazon and purchase (or in the different case locate and watch) a documentary said as: "the historic Church", Starring: Stephen 1st earl baldwin of bewdley, Director: Richard Zakka, Studio: Silverline videos, launch Date: January a million, 2005. this provides you with the historic historic past to the Orthodox Church and its position in present day society it might want to help help your determination.
