:) because ur afraid of someone who is going to judge you, make fun of you, etc. God doesn't do that, and He leaves you to make your own choices, etc.
i suggest working on your self confidence, slowly. day by day. don't worry, no matter what mistakes u make, u can start over. try again. learn from the past :).
so, work on your appearance: work out, exercise, take care of your skin and hair, buy flattering clothes.... this is so that you can look in the mirror and feel Good about yourself, and how you are presenting yourself to others. next, work on your mind: study, read, learn more, read the news, find hobbies, excel at them. this is so that u will have More knowledge, and will help you with the next step. work on your Relationships: with family, friends, and eventually strangers. so the more knowledge u have, the more u can develop your ways of thinking, and while keeping an open mind, u can learn and teach and discuss with others!! it is amazing how much information is out there, and how many different viewpoints there are. but if u are scared, or shy, u are limiting yourself. so, if u work on your Looks, and your Mind, it should help you when u try to speak to others, because u have something to say, and u are not as worried what people think about you. :) good luck, and don't worry..u can always change the future, and learn from the past. be Positive, Healthy and Happy~

That is because other people may tell you to shut up or criticize you. Or you have deep wounds from people you cared about & talked to about a particular topic, & they have wounded you. So fear comes up to talk about it with anyone, except God. Because you know that God loves you and will never leave you or forsake you.
Because God only asks us to be honest from the heart about it and to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us. Also when we sin we can confess our sins to Him & He is faithful & just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
People let us down. It isn't as important what people think of us any way than what God thinks of us. And God usually gives us the positive promise, rather than condemning thought. He will discipline at times though & that is never any fun. But we have to go through it.

I feel the same way, people want to change me,but I am who I am & will not change for nobody.I tried to let God change me a few times & I failed,so why would I change for people.Ever since I can remember my mom was always trying to change me.I use to always tell her that this is me & I can't change.I think it's been like this all my life. Why can't the people around me understand this? That's why God is the only faithful friend in the world.I can say anything to him & he understands me.

Because you should feel a sense where God isn't going to leave you and he's not going to...care what you say. I mean, you're prayer doesn't need to be perfect and he just...he doesn't care. He loves you no matter yet. So it should be a sense of feeling that God is there and he knows all of your feelings and all of you.

Its cos God's there, every moment, eager to listen. We know that he wants a relationship with us and has time. Sometimes, with people, you never know if they're actually your friend, or if theyre in a bad mood, or whatever, but God just listens.
Plus, it helps that he doesn't hold grudges either, he just forgives and moves on! He's just generally a great friend!

Because God is God...and not human. Humans want to fix you, find fault with you, lecture you, tell you why you should be doing things differently, etc. etc. God is interested in hearing your need and giving you what you need. This is, of course, if we pray in Jesus name and are willing for God to work whatever is His best for us.

I think it depends on the view you have of God. It seems you view God as accepting and understanding. I'm not sure you view the rest of the world that way.

Because God does not talk back to you. Therefore, there is no fear of saying the wrong thing or rejection.
Only one person on this planet has God talk back to him; and he is our elected leader who has us in Iraq. I wonder why God has not told him what a TERRIBLE MISTAKE he has made attacking, illegally, Iraq.

Because you are talking to yourself. You are alone with your own thoughts and don't have to worry about how it may sound to others and what they might think of you.
It is easy to think to ourselves but when we verbalize our thoughts to others we become self concious.
