Indeed Yes!

And a Virgin before, During, and after the birth of Jesus.

Then Joseph and She had a family!
Brothers and Sisters to Jesus The Christ!

Mary did not die a Virgin.
Only in the minds of the Vatican and followers.

Mary became the "Mother of God" for the Catholics in 431AD at the Council of Ephesus. Catholics still deny they Worship Mary.

The Imaculate Conception of Mary was declared in 1845AD - DEMANDING ALL to believe she was born WITHOUT SIN!

No I wouldn't like it. There are many things I do not like, it does not mean there is an obligation on others to avoid them. The rest of the world is not under an obligation to please me. The theorised critic of my art has a right to express his opinion, just as people who "disgrace" the Virgin Mary have a right to express theirs.

If you don't like it then its just tough.

Uhm. That is a horrible metaphor.

....and some people don't believe in The Virgin Mary.

You know many people say that God blessed Mary with Jesus, but he also cursed her because she would suffer the pain of seeing her son die in one of the worst ways possible!

34Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too." -Luke 2:34

I really don't see the relation. Did you paint the Virgin Mary? I don't believe that Jesus was anything more than a mortal, and thus no immaculate conception. Is this an insult to you?

There is a difference: I can prove that I painted a painting. We really have no evidence that Mary became pregnant and stayed a virgin.

Its called freedom of speech. Just cause you claim stories in the bible about virgin Mary to be true that don't make it true. It only makes it true for you not everyone! I will say what I like to.

"Blackacre" You are so right about that!!!!

part of being an artist and creating art is having the willingness to let it go - and let it be judged by those that come into contact with it, good or bad (in your eyes). - make art for you and the experience of creating it - that is where beauty comes from
