I have helped many family members in their time of need and i get bit everytime. Helped my bother when he found out he had cancer and he asked me to take care of all his business and i did and people in the family thought i was stealing from him but i did not. He died in peace knowing that everything was taken care of. My sister is in a nursing home and she needs to stay she is 87 and can not take care of herself has problems remembering things and has almost burned her house down and i took care of her house and her belongs and sold them for her and gave her the money and made sure everything was taken care of. Then she accused me of stealing from her and i never took anything from her. My question is why are family so mean when you are trying to help them and they have noone else they can count on. I will never help anyone else.

Maybe you are just helping people who are taking advantage of you, not everyone is like that some people really do appreciate what you do for them , in your case its your family I understand this because I have helped my own family out and when I needed something do you think they were there for me? Hell no, but they are my family and I would still help them even if they don't help me that is just the kind of person I am, but there has to be a time when you do say no, I am sorry I hope things get better for you good luck and keep your head up!

I hope you will reconsider helping others. You sound like a very nice person, and I hate to think that you would stop because of the opinion of others. You were very kind to help out when needed. You may rest in peace because you know you have done the right things.

come on, I see why you don't want to help anyone now, but consider this. your family are the ones you bit you, and no body else did that to you, your family are the ones who accused you, not your friends, your friends didn't do that to you. what do you think you should do when a friend needs your help. there's no wrong in not helping your family, but your friends shouldn't suffer because of what your family did.

don;t stop helping people.....please, they need it and as long as you know what you are doing that is what matters. tell everyone else to piss off and ask them where they were when these family members were going through this

From now on say NO when they ask for help. They are ungrateful miserable people. Have nothing more to do with them.
