1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us, God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God , and God in him.

The bible does say God is not willing that any should perish, infering he loves them. It also says God so loved the world he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believs in him won't perish. I can't understand someone saying they haven't seen it in the bible. Either they haven't read these passages or they simply don't want to see it.
