Ok, not sure about shizophrenia but I know there are 'homeopathic' (non drug) ways to address BiPolar (My husband is) He was on Lithium (which is naturally derived from certain salt minerals) But if you don't even want to go there then do a search for homeopathic remedies. We tried them for a while but they take a lot of patience and discipline. You need to stick to the routing and regimine that is recommended. This will usually include stress reduction and altering your environment to make you feel more secure. For us having 2 kids made it not an option and he is going back to Lithium.
Good luck!

If there is, I've never heard of it. I mean back in the old days they used to do shock therapy, and we all know that didn't work. IMO the safest way really is the medication. Anytime a schizo is off their meds the symptoms of delusions pop right back up. Personally I think the side effects of the medication is way better than living life with that kind of illness untreated.
