i dont hate colmbians! i love their acents or however you spell it! i think that makes them unique.

Because you speak too slow and don't have manners. You don't know how to be nice. Get insulted easily, and must feel inferior. You will back stab people and are unable to develop true friendships. You are what we call "interesados". You only come when you have something to gain and you will use people. You always have a hidden agenda. And you are untrustworthy. Also you are fake and think you are better than the other Hispanics. Too arrogant. The reason you speak so slow is probably to be able to coordinate what you will say so that your true intentions don't show.

It depends on the Colombians. Like everywhere else you get the familiar mix of saints and douchebags. I`ve been to Bogota twice and did notice that a lot of them seem to lack basic social skills while out in public. One to one they are often lovely. Not always.

Last straw was my "loving" colombian wife!!! I wish God would erase the memory of colombia from my mind and give me the last 5 1/2 years of my life back! And the 10's of 1000's of dollars i WASTED on my piece of **** soon to be ex wife, her ungrateful **** family, and every other piece of **** ingrate i wasted money on! What I could have done with my time and money if someone only told me what i am telling you: **** colombians!!!! Dont do it!!
And YES, my hostility is JUSTIFIED!!! I'll vet over it eventually!

Colombians are very cool people, but of all the Hispanic sub-races I have dealt with Colombians are the most arrogant and prejudiced (with the possible exception of Argentinians, but my experience with them has been limited) All the Colombians I have known felt that they were superior to Mexicans and Guatemalans and were extremely insulted if a white person called them Mexican. What's up with that? Prejudiced against other people of Spanish descent?? It makes no sense. They were also racist against black people, more so than some white rednecks I know. I found this strange and unsettling, but generally speaking Colombians are honest hard-working people with a rich a wonderful culture.... you know, except for the drug lords and civil war and crime and corruption, but I hope they are past all that now.

Hmm.. I'm a Latino (Salvadorian born in Mexico) in Canada, and I've met a few Colombians here. At first they were nice, but then, they went all over the place saying they were the best, and, when I once should pride for my country at a festival (and it wasn't just me, there were people from different countries and they still were the same), they gave me looks of disgust and insults because I wasn't colombian. And, I have yet to meet a pretty colombian.
Also, lot's of people I know that also know colombians, hate the fact that colombians try and act like they are smarter than everybody else. Eg. The Cocaine. They always say, "Were not stupid, we just make it, but don't use it". Explain your fast speech then. I've been here for about 21 years, and speak fluent english (also fluent spanish), but they thought since they had been here for about a year, they spoke it better, and were actually trying to "correct me, and teach me", and then when they spoke with other people, nobody really understood them with their heavy accent.
Not all Colombians are bad, I've also met a few good ones, But the majority, I've met are assholes. And they are the ones that paint the pictures of the country that they left behind, and it's no wonder it's been in civil war all these years.

Colombian women are a special breed of women. These women are a product of many generations of exposure to the Latin culture and traditional values in Colombia. The Latin culture in Colombia has remained un-spoiled and very traditional, because Colombia has remained somewhat isolated from American and European influences. Because of the violence and drug trafficking in Colombia in the past, few have wanted to travel to Colombia and fewer have wanted to make Colombia their home.

The first sight impress is not concluding in country name regional nor colour. Such like a dog parks to one stranger but not other stranger at same moment. Firstly is the karma. Secondly is your mind wants to please other people will smile to them. On the other hand; you are not happy or not friendly in heart, and you pretend to please them. The result will be other people will not be friendly to you too. It is the mirror to see what you are.
