Alot of information on what is going on in the school and long with what expectations the school board has for students. You will learn about extra activities that the school will have for students. You can even ask about visiting the school during regular hours. You can make sure that the school is using the proper educational procedures for your child. I attend several and if you want to stay informed with what your child school is doing attend as many as possible.

Take coffee, they aren't half as exciting as you would think. Take some paper and a pen and a day planner with your schedule written on it. Have some expectations that you would like to see take place within your daughter's school and be ready to work to put them in motion.

a bunch of parent who think they know whats best for your kid. i was the pta but there are always those handful of parents who know everything about anything and they run the show. i bet u go to this one and never go back

Expect to pay $5 or so and find a lot of women that have known each other for years.

Several stay-at-home moms trying to raise money for things the school cannot or will not fund.
Then teachers begging for the money.
