There is none. Nuns are Christian, and thereby above scrutiny. We should look into this. We are so anti-non-Christian a country that we look at others as being "wrong" because they are "different" and that is "bad." We need to stop this. Different is good, sometimes. Let them wear their burkas (I think, I apologize if I misspelled it or called it the wrong thing)! Let them wear their habits! Let them wear their pentagrams! They all have some truth, they all have a right to those religions! Say it loud, say it proud: I accept everybody, and look down on nobody!
Signed,
A Freethinking Christian

I am not sure that people make fun of either group, but the difference is that every nun made a choice to enter that group. She was not forced to join nor faces death if she chooses to leave that group.

Muslim/Islam women are born into that culture and it is never a choice, but demanded as a way for men not to have to deal with lustful desires, it is not about the women, its about the men and their need to blame everything but themselves for their inability to practice self control.
A woman who would even think about leaving this culture/religion would face death by stoning or other means. At the very least, she would be cast out by her own family and be totally alone with no means to support herself. It is not about covering her hair, for if it was simply about covering her hair, she would never face death over it. IT is about man and his rules for others rather than for himself.

I don't think people in general do make fun of Muslim women for covering their hair (or face). It is a tradition of their culture, and is not the least bit offensive. If I made fun of Muslim women for veiling, then I could not object if a Muslim made fun of Christian women for not. Besides, if they didn't they would probably be killed.

Catholic Nuns don't have to, they choose to. I think it's funny that a womans hair is so sexual men can't control their desires when they see it, so it's up to women to cover it up so as not to pollute mens minds.
