I ask this because quite a few christian answerers seem to think that we were always allowed to exercise our 'free will.'

We're very close to this already. When it happens, I wanna be the guy that gets to knock people on the head to keep them awake during the boredom. Can I can I can I please please please ;-)

Ha ha.. How can it be a crime?? Is there any victim here? oh wait.. the only person losing out is the one that don't go to church.. kidding!!
but seriously, it's your own choice. If you can't believe in Christ, then tell people that.. it's okie..unless inside your mind you think otherwise
I personally choose to be a christian only this year, after 20 over years!! PERSONAL choice.. and i LOVE to go church!! No forcing required!!

You know what the problem is.Everyone thinks we should go to church,but that is not what makes a person a christian.Church is needed,I know that,but,what good is it if we are not going for the right reasons.Talking to God & trying to follow his Sons teachings is all we need.Church is our offering to the Lord,not a cover up so people think we are holy.
