i have fond memories of school dinners actually, suprisingly!! but i must say it was in the days when wholesome meals were cooked in the school kitchens with lovely desserts! not the old chips and turkey twizzler cr@p that the kids are fed today! fair do's to jamie oliver at least he cares, but can u believe the dumbass parents cus i cant! hows that chicagogirl?

I honestly have constantly been a school dinner youngster-nevertheless am! I went with the aid of a word of bringing my very own lunch yet immediately went back to the school dinners. My absolute known is the chocolate cake with chocolate custard! they supply it each and every 2d week on a Wednesday. purple custard? by no potential heard of it. We get yellow custard with carrot cake and banana cake. I stay for the cake and custard!

Only had about a couple in my life. My Mum was a stay at home Mum and therefore I used to go home everyday for a really lovely home cooked meal. Those were the days.

The dinner ladies were all big buxom women , frightened the life out of me as I was shy .
But I have overcome my shyness , so if there are any big buxom women out there !!! lol

lumpy mash potato and grisly meat - at least it was real meat then not the plastic stuff they serve these days. Loved the runny custard tho!!!

looking forward to cake and custard,only to find the custard had a thick skin on it,yuck,same with the gravy.

The nasty potato domes they'd scoop out, that were all cold and lumpy...........ughghghghghggg.....the memory of it, still churns my stomach..didn't have chips in them days!!!! lol
