We shouldn't. We should think for ourselves.

The Bible is a gift from God, one for which we can be truly grateful. This unique book reveals things that we could never find out otherwise. For example, it tells us about the creation of the starry heavens, the earth, and the first man and woman. The Bible contains reliable principles to help us cope with life’s problems and anxieties. It explains how God will fulfill his purpose and bring about better conditions on the earth.
the Bible “is inspired of God.” (2 Timothy 3:16) In what way? The Bible itself answers: “Men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.” (2 Peter 1:21) To illustrate: A businessman might have a secretary write a letter. That letter contains the businessman’s thoughts and instructions. Hence, it is really his letter, not the secretary’s. In a similar way, the Bible contains God’s message, not that of the men who wrote it down. Thus, the entire Bible truthfully is “the word of God.”—1 Thessalonians 2:13.
The Bible was written over a 1,600-year period. Its writers lived at different times and came from many walks of life. Some were farmers, fishermen, and shepherds. Others were prophets, judges, and kings. The Gospel writer Luke was a doctor. Despite the varied backgrounds of its writers, the Bible is harmonious from beginning to end.
The Bible is scientifically accurate. It even contains information that was far ahead of its time. For example, the book of Leviticus contained laws for ancient Israel on quarantine and hygiene when surrounding nations knew nothing about such matters. At a time when there were wrong ideas about the shape of the earth, the Bible referred to it as a circle, or sphere. (Isaiah 40:22) The Bible accurately said that the earth ‘hangs on nothing.’ (Job 26:7) Of course, the Bible is not a science textbook. But when it touches on scientific matters, it is accurate. Is this not what we would expect of a book from God?
The Bible is also historically accurate and reliable. Its accounts are specific. They include not only the names but also the ancestry of individuals. In contrast to secular historians, who often do not mention the defeats of their own people, Bible writers were honest, even recording their own failings and those of their nation. In the Bible book of Numbers, for instance, the writer Moses admits his own serious error for which he was severely reproved. (Numbers 20:2-12) Such honesty is rare in other historical accounts but is found in the Bible because it is a book from God.

Many people maintain without evidence that the Bible has been changed but no other ancient books have more manuscript evidence for their authenticity than the books of the Bible. The inauthentic myth is driven by Muslims and atheists who dont believe in the 1st place and whose cause is against Christianity to begin with.
Why should you believe the Bible? To believe the Bible you first need to believe God and want to seek him. Scripture is a reflection of Gods history with mankind, sin, and righteousness. But all that knowledge goes to waste and is useless in saving either you or the ones you love unless you believe and trust in God first.

You should believe in God. You should seek to learn about his son, Jesus Christ who came and gave his life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. You can learn about him from God's word which is the Bible. Start With Matthew. Ask God to help you understand his word. There is evidence that the book we have today has been kept as close as possible to the original documents. You can find the evidence if you seek it and you will find the Lord if you seek him too!!

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and one of our Articles of Faith states: "We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly..."
You're right, the Bible has been so diluted by "so-called" Theological Experts that there is so much error and omission that one can become confused. That is the reason The Book of Mormon has come forth in these Latter-Days and in this the last dispensation of the fullness of times to clarify and testify to all the world that Jesus Christ is indeed the only begotten Son of the Father in the Flesh and the Savior of the world. The Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on the earth today and a person will get nearer to God by abiding by it's precepts. The Book of Mormon goes hand in hand with the Bible for Christ has said by two or more witnesses shall my word be established.

Jesus is not jusat the son of god because its weitten in the bible. It has been passed down from centuries ago. And yes the bible might not be in its original form but I do not think that such a large facts such as Jesus being the son of God would be changed

Wrong!!!!
Although the Bible is slightly edited; it is mostly original. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, scholars were amazed that very many scrolls were identical to those in the old testament.
The Old Testament may well be the most original ancient historical thesis in circulation today.

The bible is made up from ancient Greek and Egyptian mythology. Jesus is made up from 12 different Greek and Egyptian Gods. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself. Do a search for the history of Christianity. It's all bull, to control the masses. I do believe in creation, so therefore, I believe in a creator. But then God's not a Christian.

i've got faith the word you desire to apply is "incest", pertaining to sexual relationships between heavily-suitable people. there replaced into no regulation against incestous relationships until now the appearing of Moses and the Decalogue. Is that what you're speaking approximately? as quickly as the regulation replaced into familiar, it replaced into no longer "ok". Pornography does not seem in the Bible. lots of sin, in spite of the undeniable fact that, does. this is a historic record of countless people's lives, after all, besides as a transcript of a few of those man or woman's interactions with God. people sin. Sin is an unsightly ingredient. a thank you to handle such ugliness is to no longer pretend it does not exist--it must be delivered into the sunshine. The Bible has very much of fabric attainable for interpreting on your babies. in case you're no longer delicate interpreting approximately sexual sin on your 7 year previous, by using all means, do no longer do it. Wait until she or he has the adulthood to handle such fabric until now introducing it, basically as you're able to with a textbook. Use information, no longer sparkling censorship.

There are many lines in both old and new testaments to prove it. To believe, you don't just read the bible, you have to study it. Have you study the bible thoroughly?? It's up to individual to believe and it doesn't concern me whether you believe or not.. because i know he is the son of God. and he did really die on that cross for us.. case closed!!

Your right. The bible is full of propaganda just trying to control the masses through fear. Everybody tries the same at every level.
Just be good and think good and good may follow. If you go about being bad and thinking bad then nothing good will happen to you.
forget being dictated to especially by any doctored books from thousands of years ago .
