I'm no longer Christian -- but was raised Catholic.
In the Bible, Jesus states that there is one sin that is worse than others -- blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
You must only be asking Protestants about sin. Over half the Christians in the world are Catholic. Catholics and a few Protestant sects believe that there are three different types of sins: Original Sin, Venial Sins and Mortal Sins. Original sin is washed away at baptism. Venial sins are considered minor. If you die without these sins being forgiven, you go to Purgatory -- where you remain until they are purged. Then you can go to Heaven. Death with mortal sins on your soul means eternity in Hell.
The main reasons for the differences in belief are that Protestants (Martin Luther in particular) deciced that certain books that had been in the Bible for over 1100 years didn't belong there. He edited the Bible so that they were not part of the Protestant Bible. The basis for Purgatory is in the books that were edited out.

God wants us to put Him first, doing anything else is considered sin. {check out the old testament stories} I have heard it said, that Blasphemy is the "unforgiveable sin." However, I would think that killing yourself would be. You hear of morally corrupt people asking God to forgive them on their deathbed and only when we get to heaven will we know for sure if they did. However, if you have taken your own life, how do you have time to ask for forgiveness? As for is one sin worst than another, I would have to side with the "sin is sin" argument. You obviously have taken matters into your own hands and made a decision to go against the moral guidance of your heart (the holy spirit). God does not want any of us to die and not know him and acknowledge him, so I can imagine that is what would make God sad, is that you never gave him a chance.

Jesus loves the little children. I believe sin is sin, and the bible teaches that God is offended by all sin. If I had to pick which kind makes him the most angry, I would have to say sins against children. They r the most innocent of us all.

Yes, in God's eyes all sin is wrong, because all sin is a violation of God's will. As someone has said, whenever we sin, we are shaking our fists in the face of God.
From a human standpoint, however, some sins are certainly worse than others, because of the harm they do. This is why under the Old Testament law some sins (like murder or stealing) were judged more severely than other sins.
At the same time, the Bible doesn't spotlight one sin as being the worst in God's eyes. God is absolutely pure and holy, and even the littlest sin is still evil in His sight. The Bible says, "To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech" (Proverbs 8:13). The Bible also says, "'Do not plot evil against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,' declares the Lord" (Zechariah 8:17).
The Bible does, however, say that one sin—and only one—is unforgivable. That is the sin of turning away from God and refusing the forgiveness and salvation He offers us in Jesus Christ. But God loves us and He wants to forgive us and welcome us into His family forever. Have you accepted the gift of salvaIt is always difficult and dangerous to attempt to list sins according to their degree of seriousness. In one sense, all sins are equal in that they all separate us from God. The Bible's statement, "For the wages of sin is death ..." (Romans 6:23), applies to all sin, whether of thought, word, or deed.
At the same time, it seems obvious that some sins are worse than others in both motivation and effects and should be judged accordingly. Stealing a loaf of bread is vastly different than exterminating a million people. Sins may also differ at their root. Theologians have sought for centuries to determine what the essence of sin is. Some have chosen sensuality, others selfishness, and still others pride or unbelief. In the Old Testament, God applied different penalties to different sins, suggesting variations in the seriousness of some sins. A thief paid restitution; an occult practitioner was cut off from Israel; one who committed adultery or a homosexual act or cursed his parents was put to death (see Exodus, chapter 22 and Leviticus, chapter 20).
In the New Testament Jesus said it would be more bearable on the day of judgment for Sodom than for Capernaum because of Capernaum's unbelief and refusal to repent at His miracles (Matthew 11:23-24). The sins of Sodom were identified in Ezekiel 16:21 as arrogance, gluttony, indifference to the poor and needy, haughtiness, and "detestable things." When Jesus spoke of his second coming and judgment, he warned that among those deserving punishment some would "be beaten with many blows" and others "with few blows" (Luke 12:47-48). He also reserved His most fierce denunciations for the pride and unbelief of the religious leaders, not the sexually immoral (Matthew 23:13-36).
However, remember that whether our sins be relatively small or great, they will place us in hell apart from God's grace. The good news is that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and the sins of the whole world at the Cross. If we will repent and turn to Jesus in faith, our sins will be forgiven, and we will receive the gift of eternal life. tion He offers us in His Son, Jesus Christ?

It is forsaking Him.
Not honoring Him and turning your back when He is has done so many wonderful things for you would be, in my opinion, the worst.
It is not unforgivable, like some answerers are stating blasphemy is, all but 1 sin can be truly forgiven in a sincere heart as long as you have one more breath in your lungs. The 1 unforgivable sin would obviously be suicide.

The bible does say all sin stinks in the nostrils of God but I did also learn God especially hates blasphemy and worshipping idol Gods (putting other things or people before him).

jesus is not created : )
The Word," as John 1:1 reminds us, is God himself, the Logos (the Greek word translated "Word"), who always was eternally God, not created. The Trinity has always existed, and the Word is the second person of the Trinity. He is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable.
Jesus spoke of his own flesh when he said, "I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh" (John 6:51).
The uncreated God become involved in his own creation...

There is only one unforgivable sin and that is denying God. But I do believe the it hurts his heart when we knowing sin and do it anyways. When we choose to do wrong.
