I guess you are one of the lucky ones! It may take a couple of days for the braces to actally start doing there job. It also depends on how bad your teeth are(I am by no means trying to be mean or anything) If you are really concerned, call your orthodontist, you are paying good money for your braces,,take advantage of it!

Well, when i got my braces it hurt the same day i got them for about 4 days. I wouldn't say it's not normal, you're just very lucky. Or, it could be that your teeth haven't started shifting yet. You'll know when they are because the pain is outrageous. Thank you. Come again.

Thats very normal, you shouldnt feel any pain, just remember to brush you teeth pretty good.

When I got mine on they didnt hurt but sometimes if the tighten it more then you expect it hurts a little

ya its normal... the only time mine started hurting was when i ate japanes peanuts, that was like a week after i got them

You probably have lost feeling in your mouth.
Numbness can be a symptom of serious problems.
See a doctor ASAP!
