My boyfriend is drunk right now and he wants to go out to dinner at a restaurant, should we go even though he's drunk? He's gonna get mad if i dont go with him, what should i do? Last time we were out in public while he was drunk he tried to pull my hair and throw a dish at me all because i told him to not be so loud cause people were staring at us.

Dump his loser @ss! He's abusive and will only get worse! You deserve much better than that!

He doesn't sound like much of a winner. Unless you enjoy being humiliated in public, I would not go. How rude of him to expect you to go out in public with him in this state. I think you should get rid of him and find someone better.

In case you do decide to go, PLEASE don't let him drive.

Anyway, the fact that he's drunk before dinner makes me think he might have a drinking problem. Also, if my boyfriend ever pulled my hair and threw a dish at me (whether he was drunk or not), I would ditch him right away. That is completely disrespectful and it worries me because he sounds abusive. If he is an alcoholic and abusive, that's a double threat. Be careful.

ok...this is not good.

remember, what exactly do u expect from yourself, to show your boyfriend that you are a "good" girlfriend? don't u try to look pretty, and act nice, to his friends, family, and even strangers, so he can be "proud" that his girlfriend is awesome???

well, same goes for him!! i do NOT want a boyfriend that embarrasses me. i want one that my friends meet and go , "wow, he's awesome, i'm glad ur with him!". =T if he doesn't care how he makes himself look, and he doesn't care how bad he makes YOU look for being his girlfriend, u have a huge problem here. part of being in a relationship is taking care of yourself FOR the other person!!! he is only making you fall less and less in love with him, and more irritated. whoop dee doo, he sounds like a great bf (i'm being sarcastic if u can't tell...)

=T

if i were u, i'd encourage him to shape up, or else i'd say "see you later"~

Look, you need to grow a spine and leave. You know he mistreats you. If you think he will miraculously change, you are only kidding yourself because everyone else knows he wont. You need to decide if you are staying or going. If you leave, there is plenty of help out there to help you move on. If you stay, you need to deal with it because if you choose to stay in an obviously abusive relationship and keep whining, folks eventually are gonna be so sick of your whining they won't listen.

He is an odd choice of consort, I must say, but if I were you I would choose the path of least resistance.

At least when he assaults you in the restaurant you´ll have witnesses.

Why are you with him? If someone mistreats you a bit, after wards it will be a little more, and a little more. Don't put yourself in that position. You already have the symptoms- fear. If you excuse him saying that he only gets like that when he drinks... He'll continue and believe me it gets worst before it gets better.

don't go. you are risking to make a full of yourself. just say you are not in the mood to go out and next day tell him that you don't like it when he drinks too much. try to have a decent conversation with him because you surely deserve something better.
good luck

Dump him and don't look back. Change your phone number. He'll whip your *** on a daily basis if you stick with him.
