Thankfully we wouldn't have to make this choice since He sent Jesus as sacrifice for our sins. Your question makes no sense to a Christian, even hypothetically.

My questions have gotten a LOT less answers lately so good luck trying to get to 120....I don't know what has changed but something has....
I don't have a kid but I guess if a 'God' showed up I would say sure! 'Take the kid and give me some of those sexy virgins I have heard so much about....oh and take my damn wife too'.

I don't have a child but if I did I would be shocked that God was asking this of me, but then I would think that God could bring that child back to life also, so I might, but my heart would scream and cry while I did what God ordered and put my child to the blade. I would be a little resentful, but would have to remind myself that God has a very good reason for me to do this, so I would try to do what God wanted me to do.
This is a very hard question.

god's a myth
but if he did i would say no
and i would say to god
you brought him in to this world if you want him dead you do it
this little story in the bible is just one of the many ways the bible tried to promote slavery
in this case buy showing your obedience to your master even if he asks you to kill your loved ones
there is no good reason for a loveing all powerful god to ask this of anyone

Nice part about being Pagan, our Gods would never do such a thing even to make a point.

If they are really Christians, then they would. I personally would go to a mental clinic to see what was wrong with me if I thought God was talking to me.

I'd hope I realized I was hearing voices and would check myself into an insane asylum

Not even if "he" came and proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was god.
I'll burn in hell forever before I'll hurt my children.

Hell no. Any deity that would ask me to kill my only child as a test of my faith isn't worth worshipping.

Even if I could be convinced it really was god, and he really was asking that, no I wouldn't do it. I'd tell him to go to hell.
