You can't lose it, but you can walk away from it.

Calvinism teaches that "once saved, always saved." Arminism teaches that one can "backslide" out of a state of grace. These are the teachings of people.

Let's be realistic, here. Jesus' life, death and resurrection earned your salvation. After such a great sacrifice, Jesus is not going to stop loving you. He will help you through the rough spots and is always forgiving if you are truly sorry and repentant. Don't be so hard on yourself. Don't play God's role. God loves you. HE never stops, no matter what you do.

NO! If you are truly a Christian whom God has sent the Holy Spirit to, then the answer is no. Only you and God know if you are a true Christian in your heart. Lots of false converts "lose" their salvation all the time because they never had it to begin with.

No, Eternal Life means just that, Eternal, However you can lose rewards by not doing God's work and following Him everyday. And also God, after you become a Chirstian, will only let you sin so far before He takes you out of this world.

The only way that I know that you can lose your salvation is listed in the bible. If you blaspheme the Holy Ghost.

i doubt it. if anything, the question of being ever even being saved comes to play. if you have changed your ways and made an honest turn for the better, ok. but if u decided to get saved, but were back to your normal usual habits and tendencies, and could care less, the question of ever having salvation comes to play. if u are saved but struggle just like every other christian in the world, just remember that Christ is with us.

In the book of Revelation, chapter 3, verse 5, it states...."I will not blott out his name out of the book of life"..... It seems logical that your name must have been in the book of life by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior in order for Jesus to blott it out!

Speaking of the latter days just before The second coming of Jesus, the Bible states in ITimothy, chapter 4, verse 1......."in the latter times some shall depart from the faith".......Again , it is impossible to depart from a place if you are not already there.

A person is saved by choice and continues to be saved by choice. Paul says I die daily.Likely someone will qoute the text about no one being able to pluck you out of God's hand.....that is true, only you have the power to turn away from God. No one can force you to deny God!

Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels

Overcome sin, Jesus told us to resit the devil an he would flee from us.

Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into imprecation: the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.

NO!!!! never..unless you choose give up ... how can one lose their salvation??? once you believe in Christ, you are saved!! how can a "saved" person be "un-saved" just because you sin..?? all sins are now on that cross.. and when you love him, he will let you sin lesser and lesser...and i think even when you stop your faith in him, he will still love you..that's how great his love is.. cheers!!

Yes, if you keep on sinning and doing evil. Remember you are doing it to yourself. You are not doing it to God.
In all reality God does not need us if we will bring Him shame and embarassment.
Treat God as your own father or family, what do you think would He do if we give Him a black eye in front of society?

yes, if you turn your back on God and do not acknowledge you have sinned and continue to ask forgiveness. when you become a believer (saved, born again, etc.) you are asking God to forgive you. if you decide later on that you are in charge of your life and no longer feel a need to ask for forgiveness, you will have lost your place in heaven.
