Hebrews 9 explains about the blood, and in 2nd Corinthians 6:17 it says we are a new creation. We've been washed clean. Hebrews 7:25 says Jesus is always at the throne interceding for us. He is always cleansing us if we are saved and we trust in Him. When we sin,we repent and seek forgivenesss and He is faithful to forgive. If you trust Him to save you, you are washed in the blood.

God requires a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins. Burnt offerings in the Old Testament gives the guidelines for this. Jesus willing laid down his life and shed his blood in order that we would have a way to enter an eternal relationship and be saved from our sins. This blood sacrifice is the only thing that will cover your human nature and sins and allow you to be in the presence of God. If you have believed with your heart and confessed with your mouth, then you are saved (and washed or covered in Jesus blood.)

I tnink it's obvious that this isn't meant to be literal. It means that Christ's death, and our acceptance of that sacrifice is what cleanses us from sin. So, becoming a Christian is being washed in the blood. It's from the very start.

you would probably notice it. you can ask if your pastor at your church or anybody that you know that is a christian. but to make sure, if you don't read the bible you should probably start that might change a bit. also you should pray about how you love him and how much you are thankful for having him as a awesome God. if you don't know the fruit of the spirit, that would be the second thing you should do. they are love, joy, peace, patient, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. if you do them all maybe someone will see God in you.

It is by faith that you believe you are washed clean.

read 1 John - there are many 'tests' to see that you are in him, and he is in you.

do you see distaste for sin?
A new life being made?
unsaved friends not being as friendly?
Saved friends noticing your different?

If yes, you are no longer part on this world, but of heavenly realms

Everything tastes like copper, you find that you are covered in red gooey/brown crusty stuff, people give you strange looks as you walk down the street, and your armpits smell like an abattoir.

By faith. The Word of God says it ... so believe it. Faith has nothing to do with the way you feel, faith is based upon what the Word of God says.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved". That is what this means. Your sins are forgiven.
