i think once we die there is nothingness, like b4 we were born. this really scares me.

Personal conviction is that you simply cease to exist,
But, as the song goes "I know there ain't no heaven & I pray there ain't no hell..only my dyin will tell".
It's part of living.
Just let your concience guide you, do'nt cause any harm & do'nt be afraid.

i dont think we were nothingness before we were born.i think we were all angels.we all have a purpose in this life and when the time was right to fulfill that purpose we were hand picked by God to go down and make whatever we can out of the situations we were given.some people are on this earth for a long time.some only for a short while.then eventually we all return home to heaven

What's really weird was that I was just thinking about this last night. I am a pretty religious person so I think that we will go to heaven. OUR kind of heaven...Not the "idea" of heaven that everyone has. Either that or wouldn't it be cool if like when we died like it was like we never died and our life just continnued on. Like our heaven was actually the life we were living. Anyways...I don't think that NOTHING happens to you when you die. I think it is up to you to decide what you want to happen. Don't be scared! Put your faith in God!

Don't let it scare you as you will be dead and won't be able to feel anything,so yes it is like before we were born but for me it does not scare me as the way the world is going today,i would at last be in peace!!!

Why should it scare you? You may just cease to exist in which case you would have no feeling...just like before you were born. You won't be aware of it. Think of it as a dreamless sleep with no awareness.

you are getting into personal belief systems here, so you can expect some seemingly strange answers. For what it is worth, I believe we return to the creator to rest before we decide to return or reincarnate here on earth. Our memories are stored, we forget in other words, when we are reborn.

I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that when a person dies they meet Jesus. Here, you are judged and if you are a Christian you go Heaven, if you are not; Hell. Before we were in our mother's womb, we were in Heaven, we just don't remember because God wants it to be a surprise when we die.

When we die we enter eternity. Where we go depends on our one choice here... to accept forgiveness for what we have done wrong or to receive eternal punishment

Before we were born we were in Heaven. When we die we go to either Heaven or Hell. If we are born again Christians we go to Heaven and if not we go to Hell. FOREVER!

when you die you enter in the hereafter. If you were good then heaven awaits you. If you was bad then hell. My advice is to be good so you will not fear death. Because this way you will welcome death when it comes. The sad thing is we can not escape death Everything living has to die.
