My seven year old brother has a hard time paying attention in school and at home. He understands the information given to him, but doesn't show attention to the person speaking to him. We took him to a docter, but she said that nothing is wrong with him. How can i make him concentrate?

Have seen this before....he is probably VERY intelligent and doesn't need teachers. He is one of the gifted few who can assimilate information on their own without being taught. Once in a while I get a student like this...my son was like that. Forget doctors....find him professors to show him cool stuff to learn....DON'T WASTE THIS OPPORTUNITY!!!!!!

He's 7 :) Don't push him to hard. He has plenty of time to grow up and spend his life payinig attention :) Try getting him into a new hobby where knowledge and fun go hand in hand like A Chemistry set or an Artist easel. I know as a kid I didn't conentrate on anything i didn't find fun :)

interactions is best . I haev a 7 yr old daughter and she does the same. I have seen whe nI interact with her and she knows I am listening she pays more attention .
