I did. I love Friday Mass. This is the first Friday of the month Mass. Special graces for this devotion given by the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I know alot cannot go but, if you get a chance-- go to the first Friday of the month Mass.

to anyone: Why do you discourage healthy devotions? Graces are gifts to whom the Lord can give as he chooses can he not? Does it not say that the Holy Spirit"s gifts are many and not everyone has them all?

I have not done that since being in gradeschool back in the 60's
But thanks for reminding me about it. I think that I might want to make it a practice again.

Going to daily Mass is a wonderful spiritual practice. Believing that because you go to Mass on the first Friday of the month you will get special graces borders more on superstition than true Catholic belief. You get special graces every time that you attend Mass.

No, but my wife did.
I do go to adoration an hour per week, Mass on Sunday, and am helping in RICA, go to Bible Study one day a week and sometimes to K of C.
Not that amazing, but a year ago, I was not even Catholic!
Peace, and God Bless you!

Nope. I'm such a bad person I know but I study religion in school and my religion teacher does a little prayer before each class so it is kind of like mass...

Thanks for the insight, I guess the first Friday Mass is different in all places, but it is awesome to see that someone appreciates Mass as much as you do, may God keep you always, bless you and continue to fill your heart.

Arrrgh...you're onto us. confident, our evil Bishops have all Catholics implanted with a secret device to maintain track of each individual getting right into a Catholic parish, it somewhat is how all of us comprehend while a non-Catholic is recent and then we placed on that teach for the sake of the protestant...all to ensnare them into the evil clutches of the Romish Papacy mwahahahahahahaha!! you have stumbled upon our pagan worship of the sunlight God, anticipate a pass to from a Jesuit....VERY quickly. ;-) happy you enjoyed.
