It doesn't really matter, and there doesn't have to be just one. There could be one with mom's family, one with dad's family, and one with friends. I think the families & friends should get together & discuss what they are planning on doing to make sure they don't plan things at the same time & talk about whose getting what so several duplicates aren't bought.
Just my opinion.
