Why do people keep saying stuff how America has never won a war on its own, and that BRITS had to bail us out of every war?
-I cant remember a war that was 1 country verse another, 1v1, no other country influenced either side at all..Most wars are fought jointly
-I cant remember ONE time when the Brits had to bail us out of ANY war..I remember when we saved them in both WWI and WWII..I dont get why they say theyve bailed us out so many times..if it wasnt for America, They would be speaking German right now

Zulu- For one..Notice that most of these were before American even entered the war TO SAVE BRITAIN and the rest of its allies?
Second..Americans cant be at EVERY battle..I could go through and make a list of all the battles Brits werent at..But I have a life and that would take weeks

where did you here or see that. it's common knowledge that the Americans bailed out all of Europe during WW I and ww II. they never bailed us out of anything. if not for the American gi's the whole of Europe would be an extension of Germany.

i get real tired of yanks claiming they "saved" Britain during ww 1 and 2. when in fact if they had entered the war when the rest of the world did it would have been over quicker, there would have been less innocent deaths, and less re building to do , but the most important thing to americans is americans. it only seems that the usa bailed out Britain because of the years before entering the war they profited greatly from it.(selling arms, munitions, steal, oil, and other supplies to BOTH sides) they then were able to use this mass of wealth to build and arm a army.

The people that say that are either very misinformed or are trouble makers trying to provoke friction between the Brits and Americans. The Brits have been our allies in many wars, and very good allies, I might add. They contributed much to our victory in WW2 , for example. Sad to say, but we have trouble makers in both countries.

I don't know how much they bailed us out, but they have fought as our allies, and bravely continue to do so. Read about their squadrons in WWII. They have my respect and my thanks.
