A score of 71 on your ASVAB is average at best. Just for your info, people don't walk into any branch of the US military and get trained as Rangers, SEALs, Special Ops, etc. First they have to make it through basic training like every other recruit AND display that they have "what it takes" to become a member of an elite unit and hope to be selected.
I'm glad that you want to be the best, and thank you for wanting to join the military, but you need to get the horse in front of the cart.

71's a so/so score. I mean no offense, but the attitude of wanting to be the most "efficient killer" is the wrong way to be. You'll have to decide on what type of military action you're interested in. Jungle, sniper, etc. are all very different in technique, and have different organizations that specialize in them. Army Delta operators are revered as the best at counterterror, and close quarters, while Navy seals are famed water-borne forces. However, ALL are secondary, or advanced fields. You'll have to have been in for awhile before you'll even be considered for the training.

71 is average. You obviously don't have a clue as to what being in the Military is about. It is not about killing. I served in the 1st Gulf war, Somalia, and Bosnia. i was in the 3rd Ranger Battalion and your headed in the wrong direction if you say you want to be the most efficient killer. From my experiences, the people that say that, are ALWAYS the 1st to start crying conscientious objector, or literally cry when heading tole they are deploying to a combat zone. You have alot of growing up to do, when you do, my suggestion is.... if you want to join the Spec Ops Community, any of them would be good, they all have different missions. Know what you wanna do, and do some research on each units capabilities...

You really need to pick a branch of the service first. Secondly, you will have to be in top form before you enter any boot, both physically, and scholastically. Lastly, and to the point, command will decide if you are worth training for any elite group, not a recruiter, and least of all you. It's just too expensive dollar and time wise to "hope" you'll succeed.
Who ever approves a transfer for this kind of training is putting their butt on the line, since your achievements will reflect on their judgment of your abilities. Your reputation starts the moment you check in, and will be watched for every second there after. It will be a job interview that lasts for six to eight weeks, 24/7.

A 71 on the ASVAB is OK. Not great, not crap.
However, if you want to be a KILLER, we're NOT interested in having you in ANY of our Armed Forces! You obviously don't "get" what being in the military is all about.

71 was seems to be pretty good.... I would try being an Army ranger and go to all the schools that you can apply and get into. Besides if you make it in you would be able to probably cross train with some of them

Military Veteran: approach I am a veteran of navy carrier. Self-Proclaimed Military: approach you've proclaimed your self to be what you're now not. And that may get you in to truly obstacle. Try proclaiming your self to be a police officer, or President of the United States and you're going to see what I imply.

71 is about normal but talk to different recruiters and see what they offer. I'd say go ranger then move on from there get a good recruiter and READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY, make sure it has word for word what you want. I was in Iraq and i am infantry, its not a movie movies aren't real I've been army for 5 years
