I've seen this exact question before, nice try. You need to be reported and kicked out of yahoo!! Imposters are not necessary. Disagree with me, have your own opinion...just be yourself!

Dude, you worry to much. The most that would happen is immigration would come, get her, and deport her. I don't live in the US, but lot's of my family do live there. They have citizenship there, and live with illegal family members. All work, drive, own cars and houses (including the illegals). And they say, none have gotten in trouble.
Hell, I've met some illegals their, who also have credit cards, and have been arrested, and the cops just let them go. They don't really give a damm.
Relax. Live life.

Being undocumented breaks a CIVIL not CRIMINAL law, so unless she's working or committing some kind of fraud with your help she cannot be arrested for a crime, because being an illegal alien is NOT a crime, even tho the House of Representatives would like to change it. Since she cannot be charged criminally, neither can u.

You can live with whoever you please. I know many people whose husbands were deported by INS and the wife did not get in trouble. Maybe because they were married and not just living together. It isn't very often that one single person is going to get in trouble for living with your gf/bf who happens to be illegal. If you were housing whole communities then maybe but for one person it is highliy unlikely. Not to say it couldn't happen though. Do what is in your heart and have faith that everything will work out the way it is suppose to.

Carol R you need to calm down up there maybe he didnt get his question answered and wanted to ask again maybe there are some new users that know some thing the others didnt today.
To the carol that asked the question then you maybe liable for not turning her in only because you knew the truth. You can deny it but it will be hard being that she has not ability to get things in her name. I wouldnt move in with her because if you or her is found out then it could mean very serious trouble for you!

United States federal law states that it is a CRIME to harbor, or provide shelter to an illegal alien. If she is caught living in your house, you will go to jail.
U.S. federal law states that it is a CRIME to transport any illegal alien, anywhere in the United States at any time. If you are caught with her in your car, not only can she be arrested and deported, you can be arrested and sent to jail.
U.S federal law states that it is a CRIME to aid and abet any illegal alien at any time. You can also be found guilty of that.
U.S federal law states that if you know where an illegal alien is, and you know they are illegally in the United States, you are REQUIRED BY LAW TO REPORT THAT PERSON TO THE AUTHORITIES, IMMIGRATION CONTROL AND ENFORCEMENT.
Better find someone who is not a criminal to go out with.
