my bro-n-law (married to my sister-US citizen) has served his time in prison (3 years) for a DUI with Bodily Injury to Other (the other person did not die). He is Brazilian/English, born in Brazil, his family moved to England when he was a baby and to the US when he was 2. He does not know the language nor has any family in Brazil but was ordered to be deported today by the judge. It will take a few months for him to actually be moved, meanwhile he sits in the county jail. Does anyone know of someone with a similar case who maybe had a good attorney and got out of it? I feel really bad for my sister and my niece (5 yrs. old) and wish there was something I could do. Any advice?

Was he brought over to this country by his parents illegally or did he initially have a visa. I suggest you go to www.immigrate2us.net great forum and the people on their an help. Also there is a lawyer who is reasonalby in rates. Her website is www.visacentral.net and her name is Laurel Scott. You can do an email consultation for 50 dollars to see if she can help. Good luck to your sister and brother-in-law
