Hi Corey,
I think a lot of pain comes about due to attachments. The concept of the rapture negates most attachments. If a rapture would happen I suspect it would be relatively painless and more of a consuming flame of glory type of experience. Following is a poem on the same topic but of a different flavor. Blessings!
"- and God renews
His ancient rapture. Thus He dwells in all,
From life's minute beginnings, up at last
To man - the consummation of this scheme
Of being, the completion of this sphere
Of life; whose attributes had here and there
Been scattered o'er the visible world before,
Asking to be combined, dim fragments meant
To be united in some wondrous whole,
Imperfect qualities throughout creation,
Suggesting some one creature yet to make,
Some point where all these scattered rays should meet
Convergent in the faculties of man...
When all the race is perfected alike
As man, that is; all tended to mankind,
And, man produced, all has its end thus far;
But in completed man begins anew
A tendency to God. Prognostics told
Man's near approach; so in man's self arise
August anticipations, symbols, types
Of a dim splendor ever on before
In that eternal circle life pursues.
For men begin to pass their nature's bound,
And find new hopes and cares which fast supplant
Their proper joys and griefs; they grow too great
For narrow creeds of right and wrong, which fade
Before the unmeasured thirst for good; while peace
Rises within them ever more and more.
Such men are even now upon the earth,
Serene amid the half-formed creatures round."

secret Rapture Non experience: with the aid of the undeniable fact that's a LIE that has decieved tens of millions!!! there is not any Scriptural help for a "secret rapture", Jesus' second Coming will be seen, Audible, wonderful, Literal and intensely last...Acts a million:10,11 / Luke 24:38,39 / Rev. a million:7 / Matthew 24:30 / Matthew 24:27 / Matthew 24:31 / a million Thess. 4:16,17/Psalm 50:3 / Rev. 6:14 / Matthew 16:27, 25:31 / Rev. 22:11,12...this concept originated contained in the darkish a lengthy time period. Many Bible students had stated there might want to be severe issues contained in the Christian church; others refused to well known it. to dodge communicate of the themes, 2 monks were assigned to go back up with a concept that could want to divert interest faraway from the Christian church. A pupil named Alcazar more desirable a concept that stated lots of the Bible prophecy had already been fulfilled contained in the distant previous (concept named "preterism) hence the Bible couldn't probable be speaking about the Christian church. Cardinal Riberia designed yet another concept that has develop into widely used as "futurism" that's similiar to the in demand rapture concept. This concept states that lots of the Bible prophecy might want to be fulfilled in a very last short burst of historic previous, and hence the Bible couldn't be speaking about the themes contained in the church of his day. the idea - that's an entire fabrication devised to finish a political purpose virtually 5oo yrs. in the past - remains with us as we talk. It surely teaches that the OT prophets couldn't see the Christian church. They were waiting to work out the go and the 2d Coming, yet no longer some thing in between. This effectively eradicated the prospect that the prophets stated issues contained in the Christian church. Even those who practice this concept as we talk admit that's not latest in Scripture.

your poem is awfully silly, ummm....i don't beleive in god, but assuming I am wrong, i would guess that those going upwards would feel no pain, while those being "left behind" would feel physical and emotional pain.
