I think he's really hot, my friends all want me to talk to him, but I'm really shy and don't want to be let down if he just ignores me or something. *sigh* I really really really like him, but I'm just too shy! What are some good beginning themes to talk about and what should I do? Guys: what would you want a girl to talk about if she just randomly walked up to you and you didn't even know her name? scale back to high school I'm not even 20 yet so no obscene crap or anything plz

I'm just making a point here- I AM REALLY SHY!!! I get nervous just thinking about talking to him! I really need help I can't even talk to my guy friends easily!

How about finding out what his interests and/or hobbies are first, then casually saying something relevant to one of those? It may sound old-fashioned, but I'm shy, too, and it has worked like a charm for me in the past. :-) I knew this guy I liked was into skiing, so I approached him and told him I was trying to plan a weekend ski trip for some pals & I, and asked him if he had any ski resort recommendations. Not only did he have a recommendation, he asked if he and some of HIS guy friends could tag along! It was awesome!

Just start out by going up to him and saying 'hi'. Make small talk, it is a great way to break the ice. If you do that regularly he should start to remember/know you. This will eventually lead to deeper conversation which will let you get to know him more and so that he can get to know you.

try to find out something he likes but informed yourself very well about it before you talk to him about the theme so you don't look clueless,and then start a casual conversation .

hmm...i would sond loud excited and confident, it might get his attentions. laugh at something or make a joke. just do small talk. you could say anything, just say it in a good way, and wear lipgloss...look him in the eyes and smile. that's how i would do it.

will i think you should go up to him and say something like whats your fave football team mine is...... then slip into the conversation I like you. then causally flip your hair and walk away.
