It means if all the times people wronged you, you received a card (like a playing card). When you forgive you take that card, tear it up and never use it again. That's what I think.

No. Not for me anyway. I can forgive someone, but I will not forget. To forget means one would be gullible and most likely fall for it all over again.

No. Forgiving someone is for you, not for them. How can you forget something someone has done?

To forgive and forget is just letting it go. It's like your cell phone. You leave it in your house as you are walking out the door. You think to yourself, "I forgot my cell phone..." and then you turn around and go get it.

Did you forget you had a cell phone? No, you just walked out without it and had to go back.

You can not wipe out a memory. Once you have said, seen, heard or experienced something; you can't take it back.

You can forgive, but you will never forget. If you do, then the same thing will happen to you again.

You can forgive with out having to forget. You most likely will never forget what happened but you will have forgiven the person and will not hold it against them.

God bless

Of course not. Once you have released your transgressor by forgiveness, it doesn't automatically mean they will never offend again. You must learn from this and guard yourself from history repeating itself.
If it means ending the relationship just make sure you let them know you have forgiven them but you must do what you must to protect yourself.

When God forgives us, the memory of our sin is removed from him as far as the east is from the west, we are trying to be like Him, so yes

Maybe forgetting your mistake for the other persons sake, but of course...if it has affected you and your whole life, how will it be forgotten? But otherwise, the problem in general might be forgotton.
