I think it's no worry he has choosed a parfum, that's ok. But i think that the worry you have didn't come only becasue of parfum, i think maybe its more than that.Is his best female friend also your friend too?.Also does your boyfriend's friend has a boyfriend...if no i think you should worry for that...because i know some people who start dating out of friendship..and end up even married, and leaving their girlfriends/boyfriends for soem other(close friend). My opinion is male and female can never be close friends, because after some time one of them start feeling something more(because you can't deny hormons and chemistry which might appear)....Be careful...and think shouldn't you be your boyfriend's best friend as well as a girlfriend.

No I think perfume is a perfectly acceptable present for a friend - I don't see it as a personal thing. You can give perfume or aftershave to anyone and it does not symbolise anything other than friendship. As the person above said, jewellery is a different matter. As are flowers and clothing and of course underwear!
maybe you should try talking to him or even the girl about how your feeling. That might help to take away your worry

Well if this girl is his mother, then I'd say OK. However to give perfume to another girl if the two of you are dating exclusively is questionable. Is this a platonic relationship with her or is he just a little bit off the straight and narrow.

If it was a vibrator, then I would be worried. Perfume is not a problem. Believe it or not guys can be friends with girls AND keep their d*ck in their pants at the same time. No really, it's true!

I guess that would depend on just how much of a 'best' friend she is...and if he makes it clear its from the both of you..don't think I'd like my fella to give a personal gift to another woman though..I know he wouldn't like it if a male friend gave me a gift.

No way! They're probably really good friends and perfume is a nice thing to give.

When i worked in a bar a man gave me a bottle of channel just because i always knew his drink and got it for him as soon as i saw him so he didn't have to wait. I think its just an easy gift for a man to give a woman. At least its not undies.

I wouldn't like it, as I do think stuff like perfume is a personal thing. However, one of the things that used to annoy me with my hubbie was when he bought perfume for me, that he had smelt on someone else!!!!!!!!!!! We've split up now....lol

how did you know? did he tell you and if he did, then you have a very honest boyfriend that wants you to trust him and love him. best relationships are honest ones that communicate with each other. you can always suggest to him to say to his female best friend its not only from him but from you. that way she does not get the wrong idea and she may even like to be your friend and he will think you are being ok with the idea that he has a female friend and that you trust him.
