I was recently involved in a serious car crash,i was really lucky to survive but i lost my left leg which was devastating.My whole life was dedicated to my career,my career is my whole life.Now my career is in tatters i don't want to go on.You may think that i am a sportsman or an athlete but i am much more than that,i am the regional hokey cokey champion.Now my career is over how do i carry on??

get a fake leg.... then you can still be the regional hokey pokey champion......

people who have prothestics can do almost anything a "normal" person can....

The same thing happened to a friend, and he learned how to hokey cokey on his hands only. Ask your doctor how.

Your career maybe over but not your life...
Your life must go on...
There's alot of opportunity outside that you can explore.
Maybe you'll find your way that more excellent than before.
Come on...cheer up and be positive.

I'm so SORRY to hear about what you are facing, please
see a counselor . I'm sure there are other things that you
are good @ & the counselor can help you figure out
what you should do w/ your other talents/gifts.
Don't give up on yourself & perhaps talk to others that
have also been through this, they will have the BEST
advice & be able to give you the encouragement that you need .
Please get help

Your life isn't over.... you survived the crash. Find a new career and move forward.

Apparently you think who you are is some title. Your crash is a good opportunity to wake up... to ask honeslty who you are. I have news.... who you are is not a title.
