he's about 5 or 6 years old.
he was a stray when I found him so i dont know about the whole inbreeding thing
and when i moved, he started acting like this
(before i moved he always had his mouth open and eyes closed)
and also after i moved(i moved to a different state), he was gone for like two days and came back really strange
i have no idea what is wrong with him.

Some of this sounds like normal cat behaviour, if he is getting a bit old expect some changes in his manner, check him from top to bottom for ticks and other parasites. My cat used to do weird things like he was on drugs and then I realised cane toads were taking a bath in his drinking water and the toxins from the toads were being released into it. Take him to the vet if you are really worried

By the time you observe a difference for your cat's conduct the cat has been in misery for really a while. No option to inform what is improper of direction, vomiting is a symptom of many matters, feasible poisoning. The analysis demands to made via the veterinarian. To do? Go external and get the cat into the condominium. Take the cat in to the veterinarian ASAP.

Don't think of him as retarded. Think of him as special. Seriously. Ever heard the story of the little boy who went to a pet store and chose a puppy from a litter that was a runt. The pet store owner said, "You don't want that one, son. Get one of these other puppies." And then the kid pulled up his pants and showed the store owner that he was crippled in one leg. I'm not saying you're crippled or "special" or anything. I'm just pointing out that a lot of breeders kill runts in a litter if there is something wrong with them.

I know the litter box thing is normal - all of my cats do that. Not sure about the other things, though I think it's normal for cats to be skittish. Sometimes my cats walk funny when they're playing - they kind of sidestep.

you need to ask a couple of more questions. how old is he ? has he ever had a brain or poison injury, is he a barn cat (inbreeding). does ha have issues with his food. is he vaccinated. when was his last vet visit. only the vet can do the bloodwork to diagnose your animal.

Take him to a vet immediately. This is not normal behavior and can be an indication of serious medical problems.

yeah i heard somewhere that animals, too can have OCD and that cat's are the most likely to have it.
i don't have a cat and never have, but you could consider taking him to the vet if it seems it's bothering him or you

Get him to the vet. Only the vet will be able to tell you if there is a serious problem going on.

Yeah, I think he's retarded. I've never seen a cat act like that. Kind of a novelty cat if you think about it.
