my computer had the windows reinstalled, but not completely wiped, so it still has my old documents folder, where i was the administrator. I am the administrator now with the same name as my old account, but instead with a new documents folder. When i try 2 open the old documents folder it says it dont have permission. what can i do to open this folder or make it my documents folder again.

Take ownership of the folder with your new account.

Right click on the folder, sharing & security, advanced tab, Owner tab.

The first answer is correct. To find out how to do that, go to Start>Help and Support>type in "Take Ownership".
