IF you have an expired liscense and the insurance is under someone elses names can it be dismissed?

I recieved a ticket for no liscense and no insurance. I know I have to pay the no liscense, its expired, but what about the insurance ticket.

IF there was no insurance on the car, you are guilty, so it cannot be dismissed, especially if you knew. If there was insurance, and you were driving without licence, the insurance could be declared void in the event of an accident, in which case, you can be found guilty. Do not, under any circumstances ask for dismissal under any kind of possible technicality. If there is a way, plead guilty with explanation, and let the chips fall where they may. You will likely get a lecture and a reduced fine.

If you can show valid insurance in force at the time the ticket was written, perhaps that part can be set aside. Certainly not the part about an expired license though. It would be up to the judge in court of course.
