Baz31~
Tyson and Hearns were very exciting to watch, Tyson for his devastating punching power and Hearns for the manner of how he knocked his opponent out.
If you can ever get your hands on a video of Troy Dorsey's fights with Kevin Kelly your jaw will indeed drop. These guys held the record for most punches thrown in a fight and they fought twice at the same blistering pace. Every time Troy stepped into the ring he went forward and threw non-stop punches and man could he take a punch. Troy was definitely a top ten guy and always fell short of becoming a household name but to the fight fan who knows boxing surely knows who Troy Dorsey is.
Thanks for the great question Baz31.

Here is my list from a Fan Opinion.

1. Mike Tyson= Back in his Days, he got everyone hooked when He fights. I got introduce to Boxing because of him.

2. Manny Pacquiao= I followed his carrer, win or lose he is very exciting never in a dull round. Easy to hit but hits harder. Chin has Develop through the years.

3 Erik Morales = The only active fighter in my list, has the tendency to fight his opponents level. A very good Boxer but has a tendency to Slug even when not necessary. A Fan fighter fighting only to Please the Fan.

4. Muhammad Ali = I Have Seen old footages of his fight, my mother said, back then when Ali fights the world stops.

5.Floyd Patterson = The last small heavyweight champion, best remembered with his 1st round KO loss against Sonny Liston, the fighter who holds the record of being Knocked Down 17 straight fights. All his staright Knocked that shows what Floyd was Made off, a solid Heart with a decent boxing skills but a China Chin. Floyd Said " I got knocked down 17 staright times in a fight but I also went up 18 times".

Just A thought!

Go to the Guiness Book of Records. There you will find the the greatest boxer of all time and probably the most exciting was a man name Kephesus in ancient Greece. He fought over 3,000 fights and won them all. Of course, back then all the fights were to the death, too.

Ali Ali Ali Ali

He talked the talk and walked the walk... Tyson was awesome when he was young, but knocked everyone out in the first two minutes... that's not exciting it's a waste of $30

I can't believe Tyson is on anyone's list.

Muhammad Ali - "I am the GREATEST" and he was right!
Rocky Marciano - retired undefeated
Joe Louis - beating Schmeling was exciting
The Hearns - Duran - Leonard - Hagler era in welterweight was good
