It feels like we do, and if things do not stop - if the good people of this world do not stand up and say something, this country will march right into a totalitarian regime.

It seems many Christians do not understand that not everyone in the world thinks the same way they do. And if they do understand that it comes with a judgment that they other people are wrong, and that it the cause of evil in the world.

They've become the people who used to persecute them and I haven't met one who doesn't focus on the death of their savior and not on what he taught. All hail Rome and Cesar!

we do not even have one christian denomination that pervades the religious life of this country much less our secular lives. a christian theocracy would require a government made up of only religious authorities. it would be totalitarian if these authorities required all of us to live by their view of the bible teachings on pain of some punishment.

No, try tidbits like ' antichrist ', ' false prophet', ' opportunist ', ' barefaced liar ', emissary of the devil', ' thief ', ' criminal ', ' career criminal ', ' hood ', ' gangster ', and last but not least yellow belly. With a yellow streak up the back a mile wide. You'll at least be in the ballpark. If you see any deity in that, it's probably the pointy headed kind. Whew! Talk about ' Deja Moo ' !
