Why does Islam endorse the raping of slaves?

Quran 4:24 "And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess." http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/004.qmt.html

So the Quran instructs good Muslims that its illegal to have sex with married woman unless they are slaves, and of course, slaves are slaves thus, by definition, any sex you have with a human you have also enslaved is rape (obviously).

PS - I noticed on my last question a Muslim who was stupid enough to try an claim that I made this scripture up even though I provided an exact link and citation! People, you cant do better than this, I provide the exact link from a University site that has three of the best translators listed side by side!

If you read Torah you will find it was allowed also .. Many prophets had sex with slaves. in addition whenever the slave give birth to a child she become free ..

When Islam started slaves where everywhere, they used to rape and do whatever they wanted with them, the quran came down slowly in the first couple of years the Quran allowed sleeping with slaves that a man owned as they used to say , but later on, slaves were set free and there was no more slaves in the Islamic world.

allah says you could beat female too. sura 4 34 and that's okay to love evil even as that's covenant surah 4 148 the Quran is a few thing even with the indisputable fact that the inspired note of the only authentic maximum intense God.

If you see a pretty woman among the captives and would like her for a wife, then just bring her home and "go in unto her." Later, if you decide you don't like her, you can "let her go." 21:11-14

So you're saying every religion with textual references to rape is evil, eh?

Islam does not endorse raping slaves. the Quran explicitly states:

..and do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, when they desire to keep chaste, in order to seek the frail good of this world's life; and whoever compels them, then surely after their compulsion Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (The Noble Quran, 24:33)

The forgiveness in the verse is referring to the slave, she will not be punished as she is a victim and are guilty of no sin.
