I have a 3 in 1 HP1100. I cant scan anthing unless I use the scanner and printer wizard to do a test scan. Other than that....It doesn't work..

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. I have no problem with it copying or printing...Just the scanning is not working

Try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them. Also see if you have the right driver for the operating system. If it is not on the disk go to Hewlett Packard website and get it.

i would suggest installing a usb hub with power adapter especially if you are running other usb devices
